Phenomenal training. Fun. Excitement. The Body Wise 2008 Celebration had it all, bringing together Field Leaders and new Consultants from across the United States and Canada.
Everyone found something special to celebrate at the event, from just being with other healthy, happy Consultants to the many uplifting stories about changing lives and achieving financial success.
James and Gita Halderman especially enjoyed practical tips from the training that will allow them to accomplish more with fewer steps, leveraging the power of the Internet.
Newcomer Carole Schosow, a Consultant since December, seemed to sum-up everyone’s sentiments when she said, “It was fantastic! It inspired me even more to help people.”
Making News
Body Wise announced several developments at the weekend event:
Petit Chocolat, a new product launch that will replace One Bite™ chews, features a highly effective blend of ingredients (including 250 mg of hoodia gordonii) formulated to curb appetite.The price for Petit Chocolat is $24.95. The introductory price through the end of the month is $22.50.
The Elance Weight Management microsite was unveiled, so when people search for “weight loss” and “diet” and similar key phrases on Google and other search engines, a special trial offer for Elance will appear in the results.
A new Elance Body Transformation Challenge was announced, running from March 14-June 30, 2008.
A completely new and updated “Getting Started Kit,” including a three month subscription to iBodyWise, will be available April 1st (no fooling).
Joann Beers won the weekend sponsoring contest. She sponsored ten Consultants in just three days and won $500 cash!
Brilliant Training
One of the secrets to rapid success is to model people who are already successful doing what you want to do. Fortunately, Body Wise has a wealth of leading Consultants who freely shared their keys for rising to the top.
Jane Riley, Senior Vice President, an international wellness speaker, spoke about becoming a product of the product, developing your Why for doing the business and creating a compelling personal testimonial.
Debbie Powers, Executive Director, brought 30 years of professional insights as a professor of Fitness and Health, author of wellness textbooks and women’s basketball coach to her presentation on the importance of developing leadership skills and the power of presentation and duplication.
Steve Hughes, Senior Vice President and Body Wise Consultant since 1989, spoke about the benefits of the 40/10/2 system and his “Daily Method of Operation” which have helped him earn over $3 million dollars!
Lori Evans, Executive Manager, shared her amazing personal story of overcoming serious health concerns, along with insights on how to throw an exciting home business launch party, keep your calendar full and use business tools to build your business.
Rae Kamstra, Executive Manager, was already an accomplished fitness trainer when she discovered Body Wise. She brought the same energy and enthusiasm to her presentation about how to “Promote Up the Management Ranks to Maximize Your Earning Potential.”
Darren Sugiyama, the former co-host of Flex Appeal, ESPN’s #1 fitness program, and a multi-talented entrepreneur, offered an innovative solution to recruiting that virtually eliminates any fear of rejection and leverages your time for maximum effectiveness by using email for prospecting.
Shelley and Ken Ogilvie, Senior Managers, both had careers with the Edmonton Police Service when they discovered the benefits of Body Wise weight loss and immune support products. They spoke about the “Elance Sampling Program, Try Before You Buy,” which has been such a successful technique for them that Shelley now devotes full-time to their Body Wise business.
Melissa Huizinga, who experienced several health challenges that limited her activities while attending college, spoke about the best ways to handle objections. Telling your own compelling story is a good place to start, and has helped her quadruple her Body Wise income.
Dan Riley, Senior Vice President, joined Body Wise in 1990 to create residual income for his retirement years. After 14 months, his commissions exceeded what he earned from his full-time job. Dan shared his secrets for sponsoring and identifying business builders so other Consultants can look forward to a future that offers security and many enjoyable options.
Vita-Tech Tour Highlights
Tom Tierney, president of Vita-Tech, greeted Consultants and personally guided the tour through his state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. He explained how raw materials are quarantined, tested for purity, then formed into tablets. Consultants saw the aqueous-coating being applied before the nutrients were bottled.
A Powerful Presentation
Bending steel bars, tossing cars and giving strong keynote speeches are all in a day’s work for Mark Philippi. Winner of the “World’s Strongest Man” competition and current Strength and Conditioning Coach at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, Mark explained how prepartion, daily workouts, optimizing your performance and rising above setbacks create champions in athletics and business.
“If there is no adversity, there are no legends or heroes,” he said.
