David Mikus, R.Ph., CNC, DiHom, NMD (candidate)

David Mikus has been a pharmacist for 32 years. As the owner of The Medicine Shoppe Compounding Pharmacy & Wellness Center in Springfield, Illinois, he offers a holistic approach to health care that includes custom compounding and sterile compounding, nutritional counseling, menopause counseling, homeopathic remedies, and management of diabetes, osteoporosis and cardiovascular health.

He earned a BS in Pharmacy from St. Louis College of Pharmacy, and has received numerous professional awards. His professional memberships include the Professional Compounding Centers of America and the Society of Natural Pharmacists. After many years of integrating traditional pharmacy services with natural products and alternative approaches to healing, Mr. Mikus is currently completing his Doctorate of Natural Medicine degree.
